Crawl is a multiplayer dungeon crawler game developed by Powerhoof. The game features a unique twist where players take turns controlling both the hero character and the monsters that inhabit the dungeon. The goal of the game is for each player to reach level 10 and defeat the boss monster.

Players can gain experience points and level up by defeating monsters, finding treasure, or completing specific goals. Each level provides access to new abilities and upgrades for both the hero character and monsters, making gameplay constantly evolving and challenging.

• The hero character is controlled by one player at a time, while the other players control the dungeon monsters such as skeletons, goblins, and even traps and obstacles.

• However, if a monster player kills the hero character, they swap places and become the hero instead. The former hero is then forced to play as a monster in an attempt to defeat the current hero.
